Nicola appeared one day in a cat colony and was caught for neutering. After being neutered, our colleague didn't want to return the friendly, trusting tomcat to the colony, so Nicola was permanently placed with Ester. There, he can enjoy a large cat enclosure together with other cats. In the group, Nicola feels very comfortable, but he is also eager for human contact. When someone approaches, he immediately comes to the fence and lets himself be petted. Nicola has arrived at his German foster home. Nicola moved in with his foster family with the option of adoption. However, over the past months, a reliable harmony between him and the existing tomcat Tai has unfortunately not developed. The communication between the cats is likely complicated by the fact that Tai has no ear flaps, making him look as if his ears are constantly laid back. Therefore, Nicola is now looking for a suitable permanent home elsewhere. Once he has built trust, Nicola is a curious and playful tomcat. He loves to cuddle intensely but also needs his quiet times. Under the bed in the dog bed or on the shelf in the suitcase, these are his favorite retreat spots. When it comes to food, Nicola is always ready. As soon as a can is opened, he flies over and stands right next to the human can opener. With older children and strangers, Nicola gets along very well after a short adjustment period. Nicola wishes for a safe home with a social cat community and people who enjoy spending time with him and giving him cuddles.

Nicola tauchte eines Tages in einer Katzenkolonie auf und wurde zum Kastrieren eingefangen. Nach der Kastration wollte unsere Kollegin den netten, zutraulichen Kater nicht wieder in die Kolonie zurücksetzen und so wurde Nicola dauerhaft bei Ester untergebracht. Dort kann er gemeinsam mit weiteren Katzen ein großes Katzengehege nutzen. In der Gruppe fühlt sich Nicola sehr wohl, doch er ist auch auf den Kontakt zum Menschen bedacht. Wenn sich jemand nähert, kommt er sofort ans Gitter und lässt sich kraulen. Nicola ist in seiner deutschen Pflegestelle angekommen. Nicola war bei seiner Pflegefamilie mit der Option auf eine Adoption eingezogen. Zwischen ihm und dem bereits vorhandenen Kater Tai ist in den vergangenen Monaten jedoch leider keine verlässliche Harmonie entstanden. Die Kommunikation zwischen den Katern wird wahrscheinlich durch den Umstand erschwert, dass Tai keine Ohrmuscheln hat, also aussieht, als würde er ständig die Ohren anlegen. Nicola sucht deshalb jetzt anderweitig ein passendes Endzuhause. Sobald er Vertrauen aufgebaut hat, ist Nicola ein neugieriger, verspielter Kater. Er kuschelt gern und intensiv, braucht aber auch seine Ruhephasen. Unterm Bett im Körbchen oder auf dem Schrank in der Reisetasche, das sind seine liebsten Rückzugsorte. Wenn es ums Essen geht, ist Nicola immer vorn dabei. Die Dose wird geöffnet? Er kommt angeflogen und steht direkt neben dem menschlichen Dosenöffner. Mit älteren Kindern und Fremden kommt Nicola nach kurzer Eingewöhnung sehr gut klar. Nicola wünscht sich ein sicheres Zuhause mit sozialer Katzengesellschaft und Menschen, die sich gern mit ihm beschäftigen und ihm Streicheleinheiten schenken möchten.
