Nox

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Hello! My name is Nox. I was born in late April and came to the shelter on June 18, 2026 from Pszczyńska Street. Previously, I lived with my mom in a very high place. One day, I fell... Luckily, it ended only with a huge scare and today I am completely safe. People still frighten me a bit. I need time, patience and a quiet home where no one will force me to do anything. However, I believe that someday I will learn to trust them. But cats are my favorite! Their presence gives me courage and makes me feel more confident. That's why I would really like to live in a house where a feline companion is waiting for me or where I can be adopted with another cat.I am curious and love playing. Everything interests me - new sounds, toys and every nook and cranny. When I feel safe, I show how much energy I have inside me and what a happy little kitten I am.I use the litter box beautifully. I'm vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. When I grow up, my new caregiver will be able to take advantage of the shelter's free guaranteed castration procedure. If you have patience and a heart for a shy kitten who needs some time to trust, I promise that one day I will repay your trust with gratitude.

Jestem ciekawski i uwielbiam zabawę. Wszystko mnie interesuje – nowe dźwięki, zabawki i każdy zakamarek. Gdy czuję się bezpiecznie, pokazuję, ile mam w sobie energii i jakim jestem wesołym kocim maluchem.Pięknie korzystam z kuwety. Jestem zaszczepiony, odrobaczony i zaczipowany.

About Nox

What life with Nox looks like

Nox is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Zabrze in Zabrze.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nox, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nox?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Zabrze handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nox on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nox if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Zabrze will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nox already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nox isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Zabrze early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nox and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
