Othello is a lhassa apso who arrived a bit injured at the Oasis in September 2025, we have helped him get back in shape since then. Now he is ready to join a calm, very present family and committed to giving him a gentle end of life. A little hard of hearing and with decreasing vision, we would like Othello to always be leashed during walks or taken out in a fenced garden to ensure his safety. He does not get along with cats and it would be preferable for him to be the only dog in the house. However, he gets along with children. Regarding his health, despite being in better shape, Othello has several issues that are important to note. In his life before the Oasis, he was violently attacked by a dog and underwent surgeries. He has some manageable complications, including occasionally sensitive digestion. His prostate has some masses and was initially enlarged, due to the fact that Othello is not neutered. A treatment has allowed his prostate size to normalize, temporarily eliminating the need for neutering. A tumor is suspected in his nasal cavity, but its complex location makes any intervention impossible. With all these little issues, Othello remains a small dog still full of life and shows no signs of pain. He would be the ideal candidate if you are looking to offer a final home to a small protected pet weakened by life.

Othello est un lhassa apso qui est arrivé un peu cabosser à l’Oasis en septembre 2025, nous l’avons depuis aidé à se remettre en forme. Désormais, il est prêt à rejoindre une famille calme, très présente et prête à s’investir pour lui offrir une douce fin de vie. Un peu dure de l’oreille et avec la vision qui baisse, nous souhaitons qu’Othello soit toujours attaché lors de ses balades ou sortis dans un jardin clôturer afin d’assurer sa sécurité. Il ne s’entend pas avec les chats et il serait préférable qu’il soit le seul chien de la maison. Par contre, il s’entend avec les enfants. Concernant sa santé, malgré qu’il soit en meilleure forme, Othello présente plusieurs bobos qu’il est important de notifier. Dans sa vie avant l’Oasis, il a été violemment attaqué par un chien et a subi des opérations. Il en garde des séquelles gérables, notamment une digestion parfois fragile. Sa prostate présente quelques masses et était initialement hypertrophiée, compte tenu du fait qu’Othello n’est pas castré. Un traitement a permis de normaliser sa taille prostatique, écartant pour l’instant la nécessité d’une castration. Une tumeur est suspectée au niveau de sa cavité nasale, mais sa localisation complexe rend toute intervention impossible. Avec tous ces petits bobos, Othello reste un petit chien encore plein de vie et qui ne présente aucune forme de douleurs. Il serait le candidat idéal si vous cherchez à offrir un dernier foyer à un petit protégé fragilisé par la vie.
