Adopt Csingiz

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Origin Country: Hungary On May 13, 2026, the quintet consisting of the charming dogs Csingiz, Zsanin, Jefte, Bogat, and Matea from the city of Jászkarajenő arrived at the animal shelter in Kecskemét. Unfortunately, there is no information about their past. They had been living on the streets there, and the mayor informed the Menhely. None of the dogs had chips, and no one claimed them. We hope that the Menhely will only be a short stopover, and they will soon find their own people who will stick with them through thick and thin and never leave them. The five do not have to be rehomed together. Csingiz is a wonderful, agile young dog with his whole life ahead of him. Although his start wasn't ideal, he remains a friendly, loving, nice, and open-minded little fellow, a ray of sunshine, even though new situations initially intimidate him, as he hasn't experienced much yet. He loves being around and with people, adores cuddles, and when you engage with him, that was previously a lack in his life. Csingiz is still quite green and his new people should enjoy the opportunity to lovingly teach him everything he needs to know about being a well-behaved dog, but he is a clever little fellow who quickly understands what is expected of him. For him, as a small dog, the same rules apply as for his larger dog friends, and he does not want to be seen as a souvenir. He gets along well with his fellow animals and is currently (June 2, 2026) being integrated into a mixed pack. For our beloved Csingiz, we are looking for loving and adventurous people who will challenge and support him both mentally and physically, of course, in accordance with his age, to explore the big, wide world with him and show him how wonderful life as a beloved family dog can be. Of course, plenty of cuddle hours, enough quiet phases, play, and fun are also not to be missing. Csingiz will be a wonderful companion who brings a lot of love and joy into his new home. A cheeky whirlwind is looking for its luck! Csingiz can travel starting around mid/end of June 2026 if he finds a home or a foster home.

About Csingiz

What life with Csingiz looks like

Csingiz is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Csingiz, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Csingiz?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Csingiz on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Csingiz if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Csingiz already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Csingiz isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Csingiz and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
