Ondanks zijn jonge leeftijd heeft hij al het nodige meegemaakt. Door veranderde persoonlijke omstandigheden kon zijn vorige eigenaar helaas niet langer voor hem zorgen. Daarom is Reus nu op zoek naar een liefdevol thuis waar hij voor altijd mag blijven. Reus is een sociale, vriendelijke en enthousiaste jongeman. Hij is opgegroeid met een andere hond in huis en verblijft momenteel in een gastgezin, waar hij samenleeft met meerdere honden. Dat gaat ontzettend goed. Zelfs los tussen de paarden in de wei laat Reus zien hoe ontspannen en sociaal hij is. Zoals het een jonge hond betaamt, is Reus soms nog wat lomp en onstuimig. Hij geniet volop van het leven en heeft nog veel te ontdekken en te leren. Hij kan al netjes loslopen en komt ook goed terug wanneer je hem roept.
