Dear Schüchterner Dante, finally wants to arrive 🐶 Currently on foster home 26629 Großefehn Dante has already lived on his foster home for nearly two years. He came to Germany as a very fearful dog. On the foster home, Dante then learned that not all two-legged beings are bad. And it took a long time for him to understand that. But that is all in the past. Dante is very friendly, lives here in the pack with other dogs and knows cats and also children. As soon as he has built trust, Dante is very cuddly and enjoys this. Of course, there still needs to be a lot of work with Dante. The command "sit" works well already (if he feels like it 😉), "lie down" and other commands need to be practiced more. Dante is house-trained, but unfortunately, he is not yet leash-trained. Outside, he needs a lot of security from his human and likes to stay in the vicinity. Additionally, Dante has a shortened tail; whether this is from birth or due to an accident or someone else being responsible, we do not know. Lieber schüchterner Dante möchte endlich ankommen 🐶 Aktuell auf Pflegestelle 26629 Großefehn Dante lebt nun schon bald zwei Jahre auf seiner Pflegestelle. Er kam als sehr ängstlicher Hund nach Deutschland. Auf der Pflegestelle durfte Dante dann lernen, dass nicht alle Zweibeiner böse sind. Und das hat eine ganze Weile gedauert, bis er das verstanden hat. Doch das ist alles Vergangenheit. Dante ist sehr freundlich, lebt hier im Rudel mit weiteren Hunden und kennt Katzen und auch Kinder. Sobald er Vertrauen gefasst hat ist Dante sehr verschmust und fordert dies auch gerne ein. Natürlich muss auch weiterhin noch viel mit Dante gearbeitet werden. Das Kommando Sitz klappt schon gut (wenn er Lust hat 😉), Platz und andere Kommandos müssen noch kräftig geübt werden. Dante ist stubenrein, aber leider noch nicht leinenführig. Draußen braucht er viel Sicherheit von durch seinen Menschen und hält sich gerne in der Nähe auf. Er hat außerdem eine verkürzte Rute, ob dies von Geburt an so ist oder ein Unfall/Mensch dafür verantwortlich ist, weiß man nicht.
