Silva is a friendly dog lady who always spreads good mood, enjoys spending time with her people, and loves long walks. At the animal shelter, she has already learned a lot, although more work still needs to be done on her leash handling. Dog encounters present a challenge for her. Depending on the behavior of the approaching dog, she tends to fix on it and bark at it while on the leash. Future owners should not be discouraged or demotivated by this but should be ready and motivated to work with her on these situations. With clear rules and confident leadership, one will be rewarded with a loyal companion. due to its age, she has arthrosis in her shoulder joints, which currently do not restrict her. She is not hindered on walks or when playing with her dog buddies. As Silva is very people-oriented and wants to be part of the action, we wish for her a quiet home with owners who have plenty of time for her and want to integrate her into their daily life. At the animal shelter, we have noticed that Silva has trouble being alone. To make this stress-free for her in the future, further work should be done after the adjustment period. Silva ist eine freundliche Hundedame, die stets gute Laune verbreitet, gern Zeit mit ihren Menschen verbringt und lange Spaziergänge liebt. Im Tierheim hat sie bereits einiges gelernt, trotzdem muss weiterhin an ihrer Leinenführigkeit gearbeitet werden. Hundebegegnungen stellen für sie eine Herausforderung dar. Abhängig vom Verhalten des entgegenkommenden Hundes neigt sie dazu diesen zu fixieren und an der Leine zu pöbeln. Künftige Halter sollten sich davon nicht abschrecken oder entmutigen lassen, sondern bereit und motiviert sein, mit ihr an diesen Situationen zu arbeiten. Mit klaren Regeln und souveräner Führung wird man mit einer treuen Weggefährtin belohnt. Altersbedingt hat sie Arthrose in den Schultergelenken, was sie aktuell jedoch nicht einschränkt. Weder auf Spaziergängen noch beim Toben mit ihren Hundekumpels. Da Silva sehr menschenbezogen ist und gern mit dabei sein möchte, wünschen wir uns für sie ein ruhiges Zuhause, bei Haltern, die viel Zeit für sie haben und sie fest in ihren Alltag integrieren möchten. Im Tierheim konnten wir feststellen, dass Silva Probleme damit hat allein zu bleiben. Um ihr dies künftig stressfrei zu ermöglichen, sollte nach der Eingewöhnung weiter daran gearbeitet werden. Katzen oder Kleintiere sollten im neuen Zuhause nicht vorhanden sein.
