Skrapi

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 2 months

Skrapi is a dog of exceptional beauty – with milk chocolate-colored fur, a long silhouette, and characteristic, short, slightly crooked paws. Skrapi arrived at our shelter on April 2nd with his brother. The dogs were taken in by the municipality of Nakło nad Notecią after their previous owner went to jail. Skrapi is a very happy, energetic, and active dog. Skrapi loves movement, running, and playing with toys. On one hand, he values human company, but on the other, he can be independent. He gets along very well with other dogs, especially with puppies, although his high energy level and desire to play sometimes lead to minor disagreements in the kennel. Skrapi would be an ideal companion for someone who enjoys long hikes in the outdoors or for a family with older children. He is a healthy dog with no signs of allergies. He has already been vaccinated and will undergo a neutering procedure before adoption. His identification number is:

PL·Show original

About Skrapi

What life with Skrapi looks like

Skrapi is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Skrapi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Skrapi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Skrapi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Skrapi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Skrapi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Skrapi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Skrapi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
