I am Stella, and many, many months ago, I saw the light of the world. Well, at least that’s what they say, but I haven’t really caught much of that light yet. Instead, I live on the shadow side of life, and I can’t help but look into the future with my big eyes, a small glimmer of hope that perhaps there might be a light at the end of the tunnel. I would love to grow up like a normal little puppy, playing all day, getting into all sorts of mischief, learning and experiencing new things – simply having a carefree childhood. Instead, I’ve been stuck here in the dreary shelter, where I’ve heard the desperate barking and crying of my fellow animals day in and day out. Could this be my future? Although I was initially more reserved, I firmly believed that this wasn’t my destiny. Surely, loving people would save me and give me a future. But I’ve been waiting here for far too long, growing up behind bars. The only beautiful moments here are the daily visits from our caretakers. That’s so wonderful! But the visits are always too short, and in this desolate world, they are just a tiny drop on a hot stone. I so wish to get out of here and find loving people who can give me a better life on the sunny side. Please, finally get me out of here! Our dogs travel legally with Traces. Traces refers to the database system that monitors the entire animal transport within the EU. The dogs travel neutered (if old enough), vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, and they have an EU passport. Additionally, for dogs over 12 months old, a rapid test for the following Mediterranean diseases is conducted before travel arrangements: Borreliosis, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Dirofilariosis, and leishmaniasis. Zumindest sagt man das so, aber ich habe von dem Licht der Welt noch nicht viel mitbekommen.Vielmehr lebe ich auf der Schattenseite des Lebens, da kann ich gar nicht anders, als mit meinen großen Äuglein traurig in die Zukunft zu blicken, mit einer kleinen Hoffnung, ganz vielleicht doch noch ein Lichtlein am Ende des Tunnels zu sehen.Ich wäre so gerne wie ein ganz normales, kleines Hundemädchen aufwachsen, den ganzen Tag spielen, ganz viel Unfug machen und neue Dinge lernen und erleben – einfach eine unbeschwerte Kindheit haben. Stattdessen saß ich hier im tristen Shelter fest, wo ich tagein tagaus das verzweifelte Bellen und Weinen meiner Artgenossen hörte. Sollte das auch meine Zukunft sein?Obwohl ich anfangs eher zurückhaltend war, glaubte ich fest daran, dass das nicht mein Schicksal sein sollte. Sicher würden mich liebe Menschen retten und mir eine Zukunft schenken.Doch ich warte nun schon viel zu lange hier und musste hinter Gittern erwachsen werden,Die einzigen schönen Momente hier sind die täglichen Besuche unserer Pfleger. Das ist so toll! Aber die Besuche sind immer viel zu kurz und in dieser trostlosen Welt nur ein kleiner Tropfen auf dem heißen Stein. Ich wünsche mir so sehr hier raus zu kommen und liebe Menschen zu finden, die mir ein besseres Leben auf der Sonnenseite ermöglichen.Bitte holt mich endlich hier raus!
