Suzie, approximately 3 years old, came to us with her kittens. Her little ones have long since stood on their own, and now it's time for Suzie to leave us. She comes from a house with many cats and doesn't seem to have had much contact with people. She is very cautious around people. However, we see that she is gradually getting closer over time. Especially when she's hungry 😉. Every morning, she sits patiently by the door waiting for us to serve her breakfast. Then she goes her own way, but this is a good first step. We are looking for a quiet environment with experienced people who will give her all the time she needs to get used to it. Training her with food should make it possible to get her used to people. This requires a lot of patience and we can't say how far she will go, unfortunately. If you can enjoy every step she takes, it will quickly give you a lot of satisfaction. Suzie comes from a house with many cats and is used to being around them. She feels comfortable with the other cats in the room, but we hardly ever see her make contact with them. We think she will be happier as the only cat in the house. Suzie doesn't need to go outside if there is enough space inside, and it's even better if she doesn't. We don't place her with children or people with a desire for children, as this would be too stressful for her. Do you have the right mix of peace, experience, and patience? Suzie van ongeveer 3 jaar kwam bij ons met haar kittens. Haar kleintjes zijn allang op eigen pootjes gaan staan en nu is het tijd dat Suzie ons ook verlaat. Zij komt uit een huis met veel katten, en ze lijkt niet veel contact met mensen te hebben gehad. Ze is heel voorzichtig naar mensen toe. Wel zien we dat ze na een tijdje steeds dichterbij durft te komen. Vooral als ze honger heeft 😉. Iedere ochtend zit ze braaf voor de deur te wachten tot we haar ontbijt serveren. Daarna gaat ze weer haar eigen gang, maar dit is een mooie eerste stap. Voor haar zoeken we een rustige omgeving met ervaren mensen, die haar alle tijd geven om te wennen. Door haar te trainen met eten moet het mogelijk zijn om haar meer aan mensen te laten wennen. Hier is veel geduld voor nodig en hoe ver ze gaat komen, kunnen we helaas niet zeggen. Als u kunt genieten van ieder stapje dat ze maakt, geeft dit al snel veel voldoening. Suzie komt uit een huis met veel katten en is gewend aan soortgenoten om zich heen. Hier voelt ze zich op haar gemak bij de andere katten in de ruimte maar we zien haar eigenlijk nooit contact maken met ze. We denken dan ook dat ze gelukkiger zal zijn als enige kat in huis. Suzie hoeft niet naar buiten als er binnen genoeg ruimte is, beter niet zelfs. Wij plaatsen haar niet bij kinderen of mensen met een kinderwens, dit is te stressvol voor haar.
