Sven-Olof Svenssoninpoika is a 5-year-old domestic shorthair cat who moved from another shelter to Kisu's Nursery, where he finally got to meet other cats. Sven is FIV-positive and is now getting to know Salmari, Margariitta, and Mimosa. Sven is slowly settling into his isolation room and is currently fearful of humans, but he is curious about the other cats. They have also been sniffing around the web door and have occasionally been allowed into the room to greet Sven. Sven is not yet brave enough to come out of the room on his own. Sven enjoys regular mealtimes, especially dry food. Sven's sanctuary is a carrier, but the spread of his fur and the mess of his belongings in the morning suggest that he does more than just mope in the box at night. Sven has been microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, and tested FIV-positive. A new home should have another FIV-positive cat as a companion, as this boy clearly needs the company of his own kind. For socialization, a cat that is already accustomed to humans would be ideal.
