Description Yeni lived with a hunter who, however, wanted to get rid of her because he "couldn't do anything with her." Our animal rescuer in Sevilla, Fina, saved Yeni luckily before something worse could happen. Yeni is a heartwarming female dog who people love and also gets along well with other dogs. Update11.05.2026: Yeni was at the beach! She thought it was great. Yeni is doing very well on her foster home. She also handles visits to the cafe excellently. She sits politely on her blanket and waits. A charming female dog.16.04.2026: Yeni's foster home reports: Yeni has adapted to the daily routine and the structures here in a very short time. On workdays, she is almost in front of me in the office and lies down on her spot there already. A bond with me has formed very quickly. It's clear that she just wants to belong, to find her place in my pack, and to wish for her own home. Yeni wants to do everything right in the end. If she thinks she has done something wrong, she immediately calms down and "cries." You can see that she has a story and may also "jump" if she is startled by something. Yeni learns very quickly, though, if you just get over the fact that there was nothing bad at all. After a long night, even though she sleeps in the bedroom, she is so happy to see me again that she cries with joy and has to snuggle up tightly. In the evenings and mornings, she comes to the bed for cuddles, but goes to her own dog bed and sleeps there very relaxed. She is house-trained and also drives the car very well. Currently, she is in a box that she can get in and out of. During the ride, she lies down relaxed. During walks, she behaves excellently, unless she has something in her nose, then she wants to find it. Dog encounters are perfect during walks. When getting to know new dogs/animals or in new situations, you have to give Yeni the security that you have everything under control and that she doesn't have to worry. She enjoys outings. If she doesn't know something or finds it scary, she immediately seeks protection with me. Maybe she has not only good experiences with children. During the previous encounters (children around ten years old), she observed them closely, sought protection, and held the tail. She has now adapted to all household noises. We have also practiced being alone. At the beginning, she is a little excited/stressed and pants, but she calms down quickly and lies down and sleeps. Of course, she is overjoyed when you return. Yeni behaves absolutely excellently in the house and doesn't break anything, even when she is alone. An absolute dream dog. Only in the garden, she sometimes digs for mice, typical Podenco. Yeni's prey drive is present and training her is not to be thought of at the moment. Yeni is a sensitive, delicate, very people-oriented soul. She wants to finally arrive in a family that cares for her and loves her hot and warmly and never leaves her alone. March 2026: new photos and videos from her foster home. Yeni finally had luck. She was allowed to travel to a foster home in Germany. Here she lives with three other dogs. Yeni is very people-oriented, very cuddly, and clingy from the first day. With the other dogs, it's going well. Yeni has only been there for a few days, and her body and mind are still occupied with settling in. In the house, she behaves excellently. Beschreibung Yeni lebte bei einem Jäger, der sie allerdings loswerden wollte, da er "nichts mit ihr anfangen konnte". Unsere Tierschützerin in Sevilla, Fina, rettete Yeni zum Glück, bevor ihr Schlimmeres passieren konnte. Yeni ist eine herzensgute Hündin die Menschen sehr mag und sich auch mit anderen Hunden gut versteht. Update06.06.2026 neue Bilder und Videos11.05.2026: Yeni war am Strand! Das fand sie richtig gut. Yeni kommt sehr gut zurecht auf ihrer Pflegestelle. Auch Besuche im Cafe meistert sie hervorragend. Sie setzt sich brav auf ihre Decke und wartet. Eine bezaubernde Hündin.16.04.2026: Yenis Pflegestelle berichtet: Yeni hat sich an den Tagesablauf und die Strukturen hier in kürzester Zeit super gewöhnt. An Arbeitstagen ist sie quasi vor mir im Büro und legt sich dort schon mal auf ihren Platz. Eine Bindung zu mir ist sehr schnell entstanden. Man merkt, dass sie einfach nur dazugehören, ihren Platz in meinem Rudel finden möchte und sich sehnlichst ein eigenes Zuhause wünscht. Yeni möchte im Grunde einfach alles richtig machen. Wenn sie meint, sie habe etwas nicht richtig gemacht, beschwichtigt sie sofort und „weint“. Man merkt ihr an, dass sie eine Geschichte hat und gegebenenfalls auch einmal „zuckt“, falls sie sich über irgendetwas erschreckt. Yeni lernt aber sehr schnell, wenn man darüber hinweg geht, dass da überhaupt nichts Schlimmes war. Nach einer langen Nacht, obwohl sie mit im Schlafzimmer schläft, freut sie sich so, mich wiederzusehen, dass sie vor Freude weint und sich ganz eng ankuscheln muss. Abends und morgens kommt sie kurz ins Bett zum schmusen, geht aber von allein in ein Hundebett und schläft dort ganz entspannt durch. Sie ist stubenrein und fährt auch sehr gut Auto. Dies aktuell in einer Box, in die sie hinein und auch herausgehoben wird. Während der Fahrt legt sie sich entspannt hin. Beim spazieren gehen verhält sie sich vorbildlich, es sei denn, sie hat etwas in der Nase, dann möchte sie das auch suchen. Hunde-Begegnungen meistert sie bei Gassigängen perfekt. Beim näheren Kennenlernen von neuen Hunden/Tieren oder in neuen Situationen muss man Yeni die Sicherheit geben, dass man selbst alles im Griff hat, und dass sie sich nicht kümmern muss. Sie genießt Ausflüge. Wenn sie etwas noch nicht kennt oder unheimlich findet, sucht sie sofort Schutz bei mir. Evtl. hat sie mit Kindern nicht nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Bei den bisherigen Begegnungen (Kinder um die zehn Jahre), hat sie diese genau beobachtet, Schutz gesucht und die Rute eingeklemmt. An alle Geräusche in einem Haushalt hat sie sich mittlerweile komplett gewöhnt. Wir haben auch schon mal das allein bleiben geübt. Am Anfang ist sie ein wenig aufgeregt/gestresst und hechelt, beruhigt sich aber immer schneller und legt sich dann hin und schläft. Natürlich freut sie sich riesig wenn man wieder da ist. Yeni verhält sich absolut vorbildlich im Haus und macht nichts kaputt, auch wenn sie alleine ist. Ein absoluter Traumhund. Nur im Garten buddelt man auch mal gerne nach Mäuschen, typisch Podenco. Yenis Jagdtrieb ist vorhanden und an Ableinen ist erstmal nicht zu denken.Yeni ist eine sensible, zarte, sehr menschenbezogene Seele. Sie möchte endlich ankommen in ihrer Familie die sie umsorgt und heiß & innig liebt und nie mehr alleine lässt. März 2026: neue Bilder und Videos von ihrer Pflegestelle. Yeni hatte endlich Glück. Sie durfte auf eine Pflegestelle nach Deutschland reisen. Hier lebt sie mit 3 weiteren Hunden zusammen. Yeni ist vom 1. Tag an sehr menschen-bezogen, sehr schmusig und anlehnungsbedürftig. Mit den anderen Hunden klappt es gut. Yeni ist erst ein paar Tage dort und ihr Körper und Geist sind noch mit dem Ankommen beschäftigt. Im Haus verhält sie sich vorbildlich.
