My name is Guendalina and I became the leader of my companions Germana and Romana after our life partner was miserably killed with a violent kick just because he wanted to take care of us, to protect us. We lived together and happily for about 4 years in a house from which our two-legged friend eventually left. She loved us, spoke to us and fed us. One day people we had never seen before came to us, scaring us, making us threatening, and perhaps this is why our male was punished. So we were left as three, with an uncertain future of who would take care of us, after all we are just geese. We lived a bit without references and shelter until some kind people from an Association (Lida Cirie’ Valli di Lanzo) came to take us, put us in a large cage and took us away. Of course we were scared because where we were taken, we could hear the cries of other geese like us, we wondered where we had ended up, but suddenly the cage opened and after a moment of confusion we realized there were our kind, as well as ducks and with them a pond, lots of grass and trees... it seemed like a nice place where we could live. Yes, it's a nice place, we are calm, no one will hurt us, we have space and food to our hearts' content, a protected shelter for the night, but above all new friends with whom to flap our ALI FELICI. My name is Guendalina and I can relax because here I know that my two old companions are safe. My new two-legged friend who is a volunteer from the Lida Ciriè Association is friendly, I looked for a reassuring caress and... I found it. Sometimes stories, like perhaps the mundane story of three lost geese, have a happy ending.

Il mio nome è Guendalina e sono diventata la guida delle mie compagne Germana e Romana dopo che il nostro compagno di vita è stato miseramente ucciso con un violento calcio per il solo fatto che voleva prendersi cura di noi, voleva proteggerci. Abbiamo vissuto insieme e felici per circa 4 anni in una casa dalla quale ad un certo punto è andata via la nostra amica a due zampe. Lei ci voleva bene, ci parlava e ci nutriva. Un giorno è arrivata della gente che non avevamo mai visto prima che ci ha spaventati, reso minacciosi ed è forse per questo che il nostro maschio è stato punito. Così siamo rimaste in tre con un destino incerto su chi avrebbe potuto prendersi cura di noi, del resto siamo solo delle oche. Abbiamo vissuto un po’ senza riferimenti e senza riparo fino al giorno in cui delle brave persone di un Associazione (Lida Cirie’ Valli di Lanzo) sono venute a prenderci, messe in una grande gabbia e portate via lontano. Ovviamente eravamo spaventate perché dove siamo state portate sentivamo le grida di altre oche come noi, ci chiedevamo dove eravamo mai finite, ma ad un tratto la gabbia si è aperta e dopo un momento di smarrimento ci siamo rese conto che si c’ erano delle nostre simili ed anche delle anatre e con loro un laghetto e tanta erba ed alberi… sembrava un bel posto dove poter vivere. Si, è un bel posto, siamo tranquille nessuno ci farà del male, abbiamo spazio e cibo a volontà, un riparo protetto per la notte, ma soprattutto nuove amiche con le quali sbattere le ali felici. Mi chiamo Guendalina e posso rilassarmi perché qui so che anche le mie due vecchie compagne sono al sicuro. La mia nuova amica a due zampe che è una volontaria dell’Associazione Lida Ciriè è simpatica, ho cercato da lei una carezza rassicurante e… l’ho trovata. A volte le storie, come forse quella banale di 3 oche allo sbando hanno un lieto fine.
