Otis opisany przez wolontariuszkę Lisę 05/10/25... Otis jest w schronisku od dawna i nie miał dobrej startu w życiu, przybył razem z swoim kolegą Bruce bardzo przerażony i strachliwy, drży w rogu, gdy ktoś wchodzi do jego klatki i nie lubi dotykania, ponieważ ciepło i bliskość to coś, czego nigdy nie doświadczył. Ponieważ jest tak strachliwy i stres życia w schronisku, wolontariusze nie mogą go wyprowadzić na spacer. Siedziałam z Otisem i Bruce’em przez miesiące, a mimo tego, że Otis już nie drży w rogu, pozwala mi go głaszczyć, ale nadal ma ten strach, bo się skrzywi i jeszcze nie jest gotowy, by opuścić swoją klatkę na spacer. Mimo środowiska, które jest głośne i stresujące, Otis to spokojny i delikatny pies. Będzie miło zobaczyć Otisa biegającego i grającego, cieszącego się objęciami ludzi, co można osiągnąć w miłości i cierpliwości domu z osobą, która pomoże mu zbudować zaufanie. 24/04/26 – Otis poszedł do parku i dzisiaj był lepiej wyjdzie z jego klatki.

Otis as described by volunteer Lisa 05/10/25... Otis has been in the shelter for a while now and has not had a good start to life, he came in with his buddy Bruce very petrified and fearful, he will shake in the corner if you enter his cage and did not like being touched as affection is something he has never experienced. As he is so fearful and the stress of shelter life, volunteers are unable to get him out for a walk. I have been sitting with Otis and Bruce for months now and despite Otis no longer shaking in the corner, he will let me stroke him, but he still has that fear as he will flinch and he is not ready to leave his cage for a walk yet. Despite being in an environment that is noisy, and stressful Otis is a calm and timid dog. It will be nice to see Otis running around playing and enjoying human cuddles which can be achieved with a loving home with someone that is patient to help build that trust. 24/04/26 - Otis went into the park and was better coming out of his kennel today. Approx weight 10/06/26: 26.5kgs
