Otis som beskrevs av frivillig Lisa 05/10/25... Otis har varit i skyddshuset en längre tid nu och har inte haft ett bra start på livet, han kom in med sin vän Bruce mycket rädd och försiktig, han kommer att skaka i hörnan om du går in i hans bur och gillar inte att bli berörd eftersom kärlek är något han aldrig har upplevt. Eftersom han är så rädd och stressen från skyddshuslivet kan frivilliga inte få upp honom för promenad. Jag har satt med Otis och Bruce i månader nu och trots att Otis inte längre skakar i hörnan, låter han mig stryka honom, men han har fortfarande den rädsla eftersom han rycker till och är inte redo att lämna sin bur för en promenad ännu. Trots att han är i ett ljudligt och stressigt miljö är Otis en lugn och tyst hund. Det kommer att vara trevligt att se Otis springa runt och leka och njuta av mänskliga umgänge vilket kan uppnås med ett älskande hem där någon är tålmodig för att hjälpa bygga upp den förtroende. 24/04/26 - Otis gick ut i parken och kom bättre ur sin bur idag.

Otis as described by volunteer Lisa 05/10/25... Otis has been in the shelter for a while now and has not had a good start to life, he came in with his buddy Bruce very petrified and fearful, he will shake in the corner if you enter his cage and did not like being touched as affection is something he has never experienced. As he is so fearful and the stress of shelter life, volunteers are unable to get him out for a walk. I have been sitting with Otis and Bruce for months now and despite Otis no longer shaking in the corner, he will let me stroke him, but he still has that fear as he will flinch and he is not ready to leave his cage for a walk yet. Despite being in an environment that is noisy, and stressful Otis is a calm and timid dog. It will be nice to see Otis running around playing and enjoying human cuddles which can be achieved with a loving home with someone that is patient to help build that trust. 24/04/26 - Otis went into the park and was better coming out of his kennel today. Approx weight 10/06/26: 26.5kgs
