Baloo. Yes, just like the big bear from The Jungle Book. Only I'm a bit more muscular... and a bit less good at singing. As you can see, I am one of the most handsome XL Bullies: large, tough, and with a heart as big as my head. I am 4 years old, which means I know how things are supposed to be done, but young enough to pretend that I've forgotten about it. I was found on the street still wearing my harness and leash. I probably thought "Just a quick walk around the block," but it turned out to be longer than planned. Unfortunately, my old owner didn't come for me, so now I am all set for a new adventure with you. I am enthusiastic, active, and sometimes a bit over the top. Think of me as a cuddly bear with a built-in turbo. I love attention, hugs, and everything fun and exciting. Finding peace? Mwah... that's where I'm still in the beginner group. Do you like fetching? Then you should read this. Because I am absolutely crazy about balls... so crazy that I almost want to eat them. And release? Never heard of it. For everyone's safety, it is better to choose an alternative: brain games for example, or something where I can really sink my teeth into.

Ik ben Baloe. Ja, net als die grote beer uit het Jungle Boek. Alleen ben ik iets gespierder… en iets minder goed in zingen. Zoals je kunt zien ben ik één van de knapste XL Bully's: groot, stoer en met een hart zo groot als mijn kop. Ik ben 4 jaar, oftewel: precies oud genoeg om te weten hoe het hoort, maar jong genoeg om te doen alsof ik dat even vergeten ben. Ik ben gevonden op straat met mijn tuigje en riem nog om. Waarschijnlijk dacht ik: “Even een blokje om,” maar dat werd iets langer dan gepland. Helaas kwam mijn oude baasje mij niet halen, dus nu ben ik helemaal klaar voor een nieuw avontuur met jou. Ik ben enthousiast, actief en soms een tikkie over the top. Zie mij als een knuffelbeer met een ingebouwde turbo. Ik hou van aandacht, knuffels en alles wat leuk en spannend is. Rust vinden? Mwah… daar zit ik nog in de beginnersgroep. Hou je van apporteren? Dan moet je dit even lezen. Ik ben namelijk knettergek op ballen… zó gek dat ik ze bijna op wil eten. En loslaten? Nooit van gehoord. Voor ieders veiligheid is het beter om een alternatief te kiezen: hersenwerkjes bijvoorbeeld, of iets waar ik écht mijn tanden in mag zetten.
