This ray of sunshine is called Bruce. When he arrived at the shelter he was full of fears and problems, but he showed everyone that he just needed time and understanding. At the kennel he has made unimaginable progress: he has made lots of new friends, he has overcome his reluctance to be touched and, in fact, now it's he who calls you with a paw and looks for cuddles. Little by little he is even tackling one of his most stubborn taboos, like getting into a car, and he has already managed to go on his first outings with his human friends. He is endlessly sweet: joyful, cooperative, playful, affectionate, and inclined to relax and enjoy peace and quiet with lots and lots of cuddles... Of course, Bruce remains a dog poorly suited to a central, busy urban setting: he doesn't like cars, confusion, crowds, or noise! He is rather wary of strangers (both human and canine), but he has shown he can make friends with (almost) everyone, if introduced properly.

Questo raggio di sole si chiama Bruce Quando è arrivato in rifugio era pieno di paure e problemi, ma ha dimostrato a tutti che aveva solo bisogno di tempo e comprensione. In canile ha fatto progressi inimmaginabili:si è fatto un sacco di nuovi amici, ha vinto la sua ritrosia al contatto fisico e,anzi, ora è lui a chiamarti con la zampa e a cercare le coccole. Piano piano sta persino affrontando uno dei suoi tabù più ostici – come salire in macchina – ed è già riuscito a fare le prime gite fuori porta con i suoi amici umani. È di una dolcezza infinita: gioioso, collaborativo, giocherellone, affettuoso e incline a rilassarsi e godersi la tranquillità con tante tante coccole… Certo, Bruce rimane un cane poco adatto a un contesto urbano centrale e trafficato: non ama le automobili, la confusione, la folla, il rumore! È piuttosto diffidente verso gli estranei (sia umani sia canini), ma ha dimostrato di poter fare amicizia con (quasi) tutti, se inseriti adeguatamente.
