Laku is looking for a home together with the cat Lilli. Laku is a male black longhaired cat born in 2017. In January, he had his bad teeth removed and has also had a dental cleaning. The kitten currently weighs about 6 kilograms. Laku lives in the same foster home with his cat friend Lilli. Laku is a calm and friendly companion in home environments. He quickly adjusted to the new environment upon arriving at the organization's foster home and was found on the couch the same evening. Since then, the couch has become Lakun's kingdom and he likes to spend long days there either alone or with a person. Laku is social and gets along well with another cat and loves everyone. Laku is brave and enjoys exploring new things and places. Watching the weather outside from the balcony and staring at people passing by is a pleasant pastime for Lakun. Laku likes to curl up in a person's lap or on their feet to sleep, especially if the person puts on a blanket or a quilt! Petting is required and it is followed by a beautiful purring concert. Lakun's favorite activities include playing with his friend Lilli in addition to scratching on the scratching post, and helping out in the kitchen while people are cooking. Food tastes good to Lakun and he eats in a quiet mood with his cat friend Lilli, taking turns eating meals during the day. It's worth checking if your companion has even better dishes! Lakun now really likes food in a pate form, but treats and snacks also go down easily even if his teeth get energetic occasionally. In the beginning of the year, Lakun had his bad and cancerous teeth removed. Laku will need a dental cleaning and dental X-rays annually in the future. The new home must commit to annual checkups and treatments, and be prepared that in the future more teeth may have to be removed due to possible cancerous changes. Laku arrived at the organization in good condition and in need of a good brushing. Now the right weight has been achieved for the kitten and the smooth coat has remained in good condition with regular brushing to remove loose hair! Handling goes smoothly for Lakun, the claws have been trimmed and the ears have also been cleaned while in the foster home.

Laku etsii kotia yhdessä Lilli kissan kanssa. Laku on vuonna 2017 syntynyt musta pitkäkarvainen poikakissa. Tammikuussa Lakulta on poistettu huonokuntoisia hampaita ja hän on käynyt myös hammaskiven poistossa. Poika painaa tällä hetkellä n. 6 kiloa. Laku elää samassa sijaiskodissa kissaystävänsä Lillin kanssa. Laku on kotioloissa rauhallinen ja seurallinen kaveri. Uuteen ympäristöön hän tottui nopeasti yhdistyksen sijaiskotiin saavuttuaan ja hänet löysi sohvalta jo samana iltana. Sohvasta on sitemmin tullut Lakun valtakunta ja hän makoilee siellä mielellään päivät pitkät joko yksin tai ihmisen kanssa. Laku on sosiaalinen ja tulee toimeen toisen kissan kanssa ja hän tykkää kaikista ihmisistä. Laku on rohkea ja tutkii mielellään uusia asioita ja paikkoja. Lasitetulla parvekkeella ulkoilman nuuhkiminen ja ohi kävelevien ihmisten tuijottaminen on Lakun mielestä viihdyttävää puuhaa. Laku tykkää tulla ihmisen syliin tai jalkoihin nukkumaan, etenkin jos ihminen laittaa päällen peiton tai viltin! Rapsutuksia on saatava ja niitä seuraa kaunis kehräyskonsertti. Lakun lempparijuttuja on löhöilyn lisäksi leikkiminen kaverinsa Lillin kanssa, raapimapuussa kynsien teroittaminen ja apukokkina toimiminen keittiössä ihmisten ruoanlaiton aikana. Ruoka maistuu Lakulle hyvin ja hän ruokailee sulassa sovussa kissakaverinsa Lillin kanssa välillä ruokakippoja päikseen vaihtaen. Pitäähän sitä käydä tarkistamassa jos kaverilla on vaikka paremmat tarjoilut! Lakulle on maistunut nyt hyvin ruoka patee muodossa, mutta raksut ja herkutkin menevät helposti alas vaikka hampaita uupuukin muutama. Lakulta on vuoden alussa poistettu huonokuntoisia ja syöpymässä olevia hampaita. Laku tarvitsee jatkossa hammaskivenpoiston ja hammasröntgenin vuosittain. Uuden kodin tulee sitoutua vuosittaisiin tarkastuksiin ja hoitoihin, sekä varautua siihen, että tulevaisuudessa voi joutua poistamaan lisää hampaita mahdollisten syöpymämuutosten takia. Laku saapui yhdistykselle hoikassa kunnossa ja hyvän harjauksen tarpeessa. Nyt on saatu sopiva paino pojalle ja sileä turkki on pysynyt hyvässä kunnossa säännöllisellä pohjavillaa poistavalla harjauksella! Käsittely sujuu Lakulla ongelmitta, kynnet on leikattu ja korviakin putsattu sijaiskodissa ollessa.
