PRINCESS

Mixed Breed Cat · Unknown · Adult · 4 years

Important: When you apply to adopt a cat from our branch, we will contact you asap initially via email. If you don’t receive any response from us, please also check your junk or spam folders for our emails. Princess came to us via the Inspectorate team after being abandoned. She is a very pretty, friendly girl with cute little ear tips and a slight ginger upper lip and nose. We sadly don’t have any foster homes available at the moment, but Princess is a firm favourite with all the cattery staff and loves having a fuss from them. She is very clean and uses her litter tray without any issues, and all she needs now is the loving home that she deserves. Could that be with you? You can apply to adopt a cat from us here

About PRINCESS

What life with PRINCESS looks like

PRINCESS is a adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting PRINCESS, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about PRINCESS?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw PRINCESS on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt PRINCESS if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is PRINCESS already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if PRINCESS isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Craven and Upper Wharfedale Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know PRINCESS and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
