Rocky had to live in the garden for the last few months, had lost a lot of weight, and had sore spots on his ears. Rocky has now recovered well in the animal shelter and is ready for a good home. Despite his age, he is still an active and adventurous male dog. Rocky was initially rather rough and overly excited when out and about. Now, he is much more polite in dealing with people and tries his best to do everything right. When he is shown what is expected of him, he takes it positively and is very eager. He has now learned to handle the muzzle well and is quite obedient. Currently, dog encounters are still a topic, but with the right training, they should improve. We would place Rocky in a home with older children, as he has no experience with toddlers. We are training Rocky to meet and walk with other dogs in a more relaxed manner, but he shows little compatibility in direct contact.

Er musste die letzten Monate draußen im Garten leben, hatte stark abgenommen und wies wunde Stellen an den Ohren auf. Der stattliche Bursche hat sich im Tierheim mittlerweile super erholt und ist nun bereit für ein gutes Zuhause. Er ist trotz seines Alters ein aktiver und unternehmungslustiger Rüde. Rocky war anfangs eher rüpelhaft und viel zu aufgedreht unterwegs. Mittlerweile ist er im Umgang mit den Menschen sehr höflich und freundlich und gibt sein Bestes um alles richtig zu machen. Mit fairem Umgang und der richtigen Motivation ist er sehr bemüht, alles richtig zu machen. Er hat mittlerweile den Umgang mit dem Maulkorb schon gut gelernt und und ist durchaus sehr folgsam. Hundebegegnungen waren ein großes Thema für ihn, aber wir haben fieberhaft mit ihm trainiert und mittlerweile zeigt er sich, mit dem richtigen Handling, souverän und gelassen. Wir würden Rocky, wenn eher in einem Zuhause mit älteren Kinder sehen, da er bisher keine Erfahrungen mit Kleinkindern sammeln konnte. Trotz seiner tollen Fortschritte mit Hundebegegnungen suchen wir für ihn eher einen Einzelplatz.
