Stella - a calm dog Status: available for adoption Stella is a very calm and sensitive dog who will best thrive with patient, calm, and respectful people. She is not a dog that immediately seeks closeness with humans - she needs time to feel safe and trust, but in return offers quiet presence and a delicate bond built at her own pace. At home, her attitude towards family members is neutral. She does not initiate contact and prefers quiet places without people, but if someone approaches her, strokes her or gives her a treat, she does not run away and calmly accepts it. After walks, she likes to follow her caretaker and check what they are doing, maintaining distance but with clear curiosity. In the presence of guests, Stella practically "disappears." She chooses a room without people, often lying under the kitchen table or in the kennel. She eats treats but not from the hand. Throughout the presence of strangers, it seems as if the dog is not even in the house. On walks, she is indifferent to people - she can pass by without reacting, sometimes avoiding them with a wider arc. All physiological needs are taken care of outside. It has never happened that she soiled the house, although she does not signal the need to go out. She can be left alone in the house without problems for 8-9 hours - she does not whine, does not sit by the door, and usually just sleeps. When seeing other dogs on a walk, Stella definitely avoids contact. She crouches, lays her ears back, and tries to avoid them from a distance. In the house, she has not had contact with other animals, and her attitude towards cats is unknown. She has not had contact with children in the house. On walks, she calmly passes by quiet children, but avoids loud children, running, shouting, or biking, either with a wide arc or changing the direction of the walk. She willingly goes on walks and is learning to walk on a loose leash. In quiet places, such as the forest, she walks nicely and obeys commands. In stressful situations, such as near motors or other dogs, she may pull or try to escape into bushes. Riding in a car is difficult for her - she does not like getting in, during the ride she is restless, pants, and turns around. At the vet, she allows everything to be done, although she is very scared, tail tucked, but remains in place and does not show aggression. Also in other stressful situations, she does not bark - rather she crouches or tries to leave. Stella is a very quiet dog - she does not bark either at home or outside. Classic toys do not interest her, but she loves food-related activities, such as sniffing mats or simple food-based games. Stella - spokojna psina Status: do adopcji Stella to bardzo spokojna i wrażliwa sunia, która najlepiej odnajdzie się u osób cierpliwych, spokojnych i szanujących jej granice. Nie jest psem, który od razu szuka bliskości z człowiekiem – potrzebuje czasu, by poczuć się bezpiecznie i zaufać, ale w zamian oferuje cichą obecność i delikatną więź budowaną we własnym tempie. W domu wobec domowników jej stosunek jest neutralny. Sama nie inicjuje kontaktu i chętnie wybiera ciche miejsca bez człowieka, jednak jeśli ktoś do niej podejdzie, pogłaszcze ją lub poczęstuje smaczkiem, nie ucieka i spokojnie to akceptuje. Po spacerach lubi chodzić za opiekunem i sprawdzać, co robi, zachowując dystans, ale z wyraźną ciekawością. W obecności gości Stella praktycznie „znika”. Wybiera pomieszczenie bez ludzi, często kładzie się pod stołem w kuchni lub w kenelu. Smaczki zje, ale nie z ręki. Przez cały czas obecności obcych ma się wrażenie, jakby psa nie było w domu. Na spacerach wobec ludzi jest obojętna – potrafi przejść obok bez reakcji, czasem omija ich szerszym łukiem. Wszystkie potrzeby fizjologiczne załatwia na zewnątrz. Nie zdarzyło się, aby zabrudziła dom, choć nie sygnalizuje potrzeby wyjścia. Zostaje sama w domu bez problemu nawet na 8–9 godzin – nie piszczy, nie siedzi pod drzwiami, najczęściej po prostu śpi. Na widok innych psów na spacerze Stella zdecydowanie unika kontaktu. Kuli się, kładzie uszy i stara się minąć je z daleka. W domu nie miała kontaktu z innymi zwierzętami, a jej stosunek do kotów nie jest znany. Nie miała kontaktu z dziećmi w domu. Na spacerach spokojnie mija te ciche, natomiast głośne dzieci, biegające, krzyczące lub jadące na rowerze, omija szerokim łukiem albo zmienia kierunek spaceru. Na spacery wychodzi chętnie i uczy się chodzenia na luźnej smyczy. W spokojnych miejscach, takich jak las, ładnie chodzi i wykonuje komendy. W sytuacjach stresujących, np. przy motorach czy innych psach, potrafi ciągnąć lub próbować uciec w krzaki. Jazda samochodem jest dla niej trudna – nie lubi wsiadać, podczas jazdy jest niespokojna, dyszy i kręci się. U weterynarza daje sobie zrobić wszystko, choć jest bardzo przestraszona, z podkulonym ogonem, ale pozostaje w miejscu i nie wykazuje agresji. Również w innych stresowych sytuacjach nie kłapie – raczej się kuli lub próbuje odejść. Stella jest psem bardzo cichym – nie szczeka ani w domu, ani na zewnątrz. Nie interesują jej klasyczne zabawki, za to uwielbia aktywności z jedzeniem, takie jak maty węchowe czy proste zabawy węchowe z karmą.
