Take a look at this cute pair. It belongs to Tessy, a sweet mixed breed Stafford of 9 years old. Coming to us because rehoming to the city wasn't successful. Tessy has, contrary to what one often thinks about this breed, no big mouth. It's a modest little dog with a big heart. In the city, she gets anxious, can't handle all the hustle and bustle well. She retreats and is clearly not in her element. This means we're looking for a new home for Tessy. Where the environment is calm and orderly. A quiet owner, one or two. Where she doesn't constantly feel the need to be on guard. Tessy doesn't really care about other dogs outside; she does her own thing comfortably. She leaves cats alone. We will, however, look for a home for her without other animals, due to her preference for peace. This also applies to children. Better not. We've gotten to know Tessy here as an easy-going dog who clearly loves people. On the playfield, she lets everyone pet her, plays with the staff using a ball, and is especially very affectionate. But if you give her a cuddle session, she'll shake and tear it to pieces in a moment when she's completely let loose. Until a few tufts are left, then she looks at you with great pride. Kijk naar dit mooie koppie. Het is van Tessy, een lieve kruising Stafford van 9 jaar oud. Bij ons gekomen omdat een herplaatsing naar de stad geen succes bleek. Tessy heeft, in tegenstelling tot wat men bij dit ras vaak denkt, geen grote mond. Het is een bescheiden hondje met een klein hartje. In de stad wordt ze onrustig, kan alle drukte en impulsen niet goed aan. Ze trekt zich terug en is duidelijk niet in haar element. Dat betekent dat we voor Tessy een nieuw thuis gaan zoeken. Waar de omgeving rustig en overzichtelijk is. Rustig baasje, een of twee. Waar ze niet continu het gevoel heeft op haar hoede te moeten zijn. Tessy trekt zich buiten niet zoveel aan van andere honden, ze doet lekker haar eigen ding. Katten laat ze links liggen. We zullen voor haar echter wel een thuis zoeken zonder andere dieren, vanwege haar hang naar rust. Dit geldt ook voor kinderen. Beter niet. Wij hebben Tessy hier leren kennen als een makkelijke hond, houdt duidelijk van mensen. Op de speelweide laat ze zich door iedereen aanhalen, speelt met de medewerkers met een balletje en is vooral heel lief. Maar geef je haar een knuffelspeeltje, dan wordt die aan flarden geschud en gescheurd. Een momentje waarop ze helemaal los mag. Tot er nog een paar vlokken van over zijn, dan kijkt ze je vol trots aan. Dus heeft u een overzichtelijk huishouden en bent u zelf ook niet van veranderingen en prikkels?
