Adopt ZWEI KLASSE

American Staffordshire Terrier · Male · Adult · 8 years

VERMISCELLANEY - possible only to - Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and other countries where the entry of such a dog is allowed! Image 1-3 - JACK - Am. Staffordshire Terrier Mix, ca. 8 Y, born 2017, SH 54 cm 38 kg, - We would like to introduce you to Jack, a ca. 8-year-old Staffordshire-Mix. Jack was rescued from Crevillente, where he was to be put to sleep if we couldn't retrieve him within 5 days. Before that, he was alone on a Finca, where dogs would pass by and he would go after them – probably to defend the Finca. Jack had a history of Leismaniose, but his titer was very low. Jack is a bit dominant with food and toys. He loves to run and walk a lot. He dislikes male dogs, is food-aggressive, and dislikes cats, but he gets along well with young female dogs. Jack needs a family without children because they make him nervous and he doesn't like them. His ideal home should be a house with a garden because he doesn't like being confined. Otherwise, Jack is a very good dog, he likes to go for walks and can be a bit stubborn when he wants something and doesn't get it. Due to his past, he is initially afraid of people he doesn't know and needs to build trust, taking some time to learn his new family. If he gets stressed, he growls, but that's about it. In general, Jack is a dog who needs a loving home and lots of love. He was almost 2 years in confinement....WHO would like to give JACK a new home !!!!!!! - Image 4+5 - HUGO - Am. Stafford, 8 Y, born ca. 2016, SH 52 cm, 34 kg, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, EU-Pass. - Waiting in Spain! - More photos available upon request. - Hugo was rescued from the killing in Alicante. As he was standing right before his execution, he had a terrible past. The poor guy spent years in a pen, confined in a cold cage. Hugo had a severe ear infection, which required something to be cut from his ears. Since March 2019, he has been at the animal shelter with David. He is okay with people, but initially very mistrustful, especially towards men... probably because he was mistreated by a man. Hugo lives happily with male dogs (if not dominant) and female dogs. He especially enjoys the company of people. He gets a bit nervous at mealtime, so it's better to feed him alone or separately. Hugo is a quiet dog. He likes to walk on a leash and loves lots of love and affection. Who will give HUGO a home forever ??? More photos of all the dogs upon request!! Update 11.02.2021 - MAMBA, BELLA, ROCKY + NESQUICK have found their home! - If you would like to give JACK or HUGO a home, info and contact: Spanish and English: email: - or - German: email: - (I am very happy to help with language problems). - We grant data release and ask for sharing, also in public media and on Facebook.

- Bild 4+5 - HUGO - Am. Stafford, 8 J, geb.ca.2016, SH 52 cm, 34 kg, geimpft, gechippt, kastriert, EU-Paß. - Wartet in Spanien !

About ZWEI KLASSE

What life with ZWEI KLASSE looks like

ZWEI KLASSE is a adult american staffordshire terrier dog waiting at Tier-Not-Hilfe in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting ZWEI KLASSE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ZWEI KLASSE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tier-Not-Hilfe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ZWEI KLASSE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ZWEI KLASSE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tier-Not-Hilfe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ZWEI KLASSE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ZWEI KLASSE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tier-Not-Hilfe early rather than rehoming privately; they know ZWEI KLASSE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
