Greyson

Mixed Breed Cat · Male · Kitten · 5 months

Introducing Greyson, this lovely boy was found abandoned at a bus stop, sadly the bus wouldn’t bring him to Bristol ARC and a kind member of public brought him to us to start his new journey. A lively, playful, and affectionate young kitten who loves being around people. He adores cuddles with his carers and will happily rub his face against yours to show his affection. This handsome boy has a big personality and plenty of love to give! At 5 months old, Greyson is still learning some of his manners. He can become a little overexcited during playtime and may occasionally get nippy, but he means no harm, he simply loves to play and hasn’t quite mastered appropriate play behaviour yet. It is clear that he is slightly under socialised and we ask that his new family is not to encourage his nippy behaviour but to promote play with fun toys. Small soft toys or fishing rod toys that he can chase. With patience, consistency, and plenty of fun enrichment, Greyson is sure to grow into a wonderful cat. If you’re looking for an energetic, loving kitten who will keep you entertained and shower you with affection, Greyson could be the perfect addition to your family. About Greyson

What life with Greyson looks like

Greyson is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre in Bristol.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Greyson, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Greyson?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Bristol Animal Rescue Centre handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Greyson on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Greyson if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Bristol Animal Rescue Centre will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Greyson already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Greyson isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Bristol Animal Rescue Centre early rather than rehoming privately; they know Greyson and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
