Hello, my name is Raffy and I’m a handsome 15-year-old gent with a heart of gold. I sadly find myself at Raystede as my owner was too ill to look after me. I’d love to find a nice retirement home for twilight years. My personality: I’m a little nervous of new people initially, but my curiosity soon wins out. I bond very strongly with my trusted humans and enjoy a cuddle on your lap and a nice fuss. I’ll also join you on your bed at night so I’m really a perfect companion! I also love being brushed. Children: I’m used to a quiet home with an elderly owner so would like a similar environment, but I could live with sensible teens. Other animals: I prefer my own space so wouldn’t like to share my home with other cats or dogs, please. Additional needs: I enjoy going out for a wander so a nice garden to call my own is a must! I’m not hunter and I tend to avoid roads. I have an overactive thyroid and am on medication to manage this. I’m doing well at taking this in my food and my condition is well managed.
