Labradoropis, who had lived in the family for 16 years, ended up on the street one evening in the dark and cold. The story is harsh: the owner had left his wife and dog out of the house. The woman felt unwell and emergency medical help was called. Before being taken to the hospital, the woman still managed to shout to her neighbor that she was giving up the dog, because there was nowhere to live anymore. So the dog was left lying in the cold by the house, until other neighbors called the rescuers... Days and weeks passed. We found out that the woman has already been discharged from the hospital, but she has not come back for the dog. No one has even called. We thought that after 16 years together, even if there was no place to live, the owner would come back for the dog. We knew that while the housing issue was being resolved, we would take care of the dog. The main thing was that the owner didn't disappear. However, she did "disappear." And the police also confirmed it: in this family, no one wants the 16-year-old dog anymore. So the old dog's fate is to spend his golden years at the shelter. Dear volunteer dog walkers! We know that you like action and lively, active walks in the forest. With the old dogs who slowly chew small pieces, it's more "boring." Labradoropis, kurš ģimenē nodzīvojis 16 gadus, kādu vakaru tumsā un salā nonāca uz ielas. Stāsts ir skarbs: znots esot izlicis sievasmāti kopā ar suni no mājām. Sievietei kļuva slikti, tika izsaukta neatliekamā medicīniskā palīdzība. Pirms vešanas uz slimnīcu sieviete kaimiņienei vēl paspēja uzsaukt, ka no suņa atsakās, jo vairs neesot, kur dzīvot. Tā suns palika guļam pie mājas aukstumā, līdz citi kaimiņi izsauca glābējus… Gāja dienas un nedēļas. Uzzinājām, ka sieviete no slimnīcas jau ir izrakstīta, taču pie suņa tā arī nav atnākusi. Neviens pat nav piezvanījis. Mēs bijām iedomājušies, ka pēc 16 gadiem kopā, pat ja vēl nebūs kur dzīvot, saimniece pie suņa atnāks. Mēs zinājām, ka kamēr atrisināsies jautājums ar dzīvesvietu, suņopi pieskatīsim un aprūpēsim. Galvenais, lai saimniece nepazūd. Tomēr viņa “pazuda”. Un arī policija mums apstiprināja: šajā ģimenē 16 gadus veco suni nevienam vairs nevajag. Tā nu opītim liktenis lēmis vecumdienas vadīt patversmē. Mīļie brīvprātīgie suņu staidzinātāji! Mēs zinām, ka jums patīk darbība un raitas, aktīvas pastaigas mežā. Ar opīšiem, kuri lēnītēm čunčina mazus gabaliņus, ir “garlaicīgāk”. Un tomēr mēs būtu ļoti pateicīgi, ja pēc izskriešanās ar aktīvajiem suņiem kādu brītiņu veltītu arī patversmes večukiem. Iziet mazu aplīti kaut pa patversmes teritoriju, piesaulītē ar viņiem pasēdēt, parunāt, paķemmēt kažociņu. Ja jūs zinātu, cik viņi ir pateicīgi par šo kripatiņu uzmanības!
