Tiny Tim

Cockapoo · Male · Puppy

I can live with older dog-savvy children who understand I need time to settle in. I can be an only dog or live with other dogs. I have never met cats. I would love a garden to run and play in! I would love plenty of adventures once I am fully vaccinated! I am just a puppy! Please be patient with me while I learn the basics! Please read below for more information about my health! 03-11-26 Tiny Tim is a gorgeous and bouncy little pup who has come to us from a breeder. He is a lovely, happy boy who is always interested in what is going on around him and has been enjoying all the new experiences that come with living in a home. He has been spending time in a foster home and is showing us what a wonderful little companion he can be. He is a fairly chilled-out little chap who loves nothing more than a cuddle, a tummy rub and being close to his favourite people! Tiny Tim has arrived with a Grade 3 left luxating patella and a Grade 4 right luxating patella. He has had X-rays which we are able to send to potential adopters for them to have checked at their own vets. Due to his diagnosis, he will need specialist surgery to help his mobility. Unfortunately, this cannot be carried out just yet as he is still growing, and it will need to be arranged once his growth plates have fused. We would love to find adopters who are happy to welcome Tiny Tim into their lives as he is now and who would be able to fund his operation when he is old enough. It is estimated that this could cost around £3,000+, depending on which specialist is used, and it would not be covered by insurance as it is a pre-existing condition. We would love for him to settle into a forever home while he is still a puppy, where he can enjoy all the fun of growing up with his own family. If he isn't adopted during this time, we will continue to support him and arrange his surgery under our care once he is old enough. Tiny Tim has been enjoying life in his foster home and has shown himself to be a lovely little house companion. He is quite happy pottering about, having little naps in his bed and keeping himself occupied with his toys, although he much prefers being curled up beside his foster mum and having his tummy rubbed! He loves attention and is very generous with his kisses, even if he has been told his breath could do with a little improvement! He is also quite the little snorer and has earned himself the nickname of an 'iPad kid' because he loves sitting peacefully watching things move on a screen. He is currently living with another dog and enjoys having company, although he can sometimes find a bigger, more playful dog a little overwhelming. He is happy to retreat to his foster mum for reassurance when he needs a break. Tiny Tim can live with a suitable resident dog in his new home, provided they are happy to have a playful puppy around, or he could be the only dog where his adopters have plenty of time to spend with him. He can live with sensible, dog-savvy children who understand his needs. Tiny Tim has been getting out and about for some short lead walks and is slowly getting used to wearing his harness. His back legs can be a little wobbly and his mobility does need to be considered, but this certainly doesn't stop him from enjoying life! He can be quite adventurous and sometimes forgets that his legs need a little extra care, so his adopters will need to be mindful of this and manage his activity carefully. He isn't particularly keen on travelling in the car as it can make him feel sick, and loud noises can worry him, so he will need some gentle reassurance with these things. As Tiny Tim is still just a pup, he will need to continue learning all about the rules of home life, including house training and walking nicely on a lead. His adopters will need to be patient and willing to help him grow into a happy and confident little boy. His adopters will need to agree to have him neutered when he is old enough, and his family will need to take him to puppy socialisation and training as he grows. Tiny Tim is such a gorgeous little character who has already experienced so many firsts and is thoroughly enjoying discovering the world around him. He is a loving, cuddly and sometimes cheeky little boy who deserves a family who will adore him, understand his medical needs and be there for him throughout his journey. Day 39 of living in a foster home with Holly, home with Holly in the evenings and socialising with humans and other doggies during the days! As cool as that is I’m sure I’d love to have a home to call my own. I have been told I’m a chill dude, I nap and cuddle and show everyone my belly for fuss, I don’t like the car it makes me sick and loud noises scare me, but Holly keeps me safe and feeds me a lot. I have a room mate, she’s a lot bigger than me and sometimes squashes me when I try to play, but Holly is always there so I run to cuddle her when it gets too much. She likes to keep me safe in my crate when she has to leave the room but I miss her a lot so I break out, I hope my new home can keep up with my magic tricks because I’ve gotten quite good at it. When Holly is busy doing human things around the home I nap in my bed keeping myself out of trouble, I nibble my toys occasionally but I much prefer pulling on Hollys hair when I get the chance. I stay close to Holly but will keep out of the way and watch from a distance if she’s having zoomies in the kitchen. I have been told my breath stinks but that doesn’t stop me giving everyone kisses and that I snore. But Holly won’t complain because I’m the quietest boy she’s ever met. We have been out exploring every now and then, I have to wear this suit…I think it’s called a harness? I don’t like it but if it means I get to spend more time with the humans let’s go! We have done some lead walks but only short ones, I’ve got wobbly back legs so sometimes they slow me down but not by a lot. I have beds scattered around the home but I take every opportunity to lay next to Holly even on her lap for some tummy rubs. I love it! I get carried around like a baby sometimes because it means I get more tummy rubs. Holly has called me an ‘iPad kid’ it started when we’d watch things moving on a screen and I’d sit peacefully watching it move. Holly took me to a new vet, they put me in this big box for an X-ray. I behaved myself and watched all the other people and doggies moving around the vets from the comfort of Hollys lap (my favourite place) don’t be fooled by my wobbly legs, I forget about them a lot and try to jump up and down off the furniture, I get zoomies like any other dog, I’m curious and maybe one day my legs will not be noticed, I’ve had a few first at the rescue I even had my first Halloween at the rescue with Holly and friends and met some new friends! Holly’s hope for me is a loving home not just for Christmas but for all the care I need, and the promise that loving me will be the greatest gift you’ll ever receive Tiny Tim is a gorgeous and bouncy little pup who has come to us from a breeder. He is a lovely, happy boy who is always ready to see what is going on around him and would make a wonderful addition to a loving and happy family who are ready to welcome him with open arms. About Tiny Tim

What life with Tiny Tim looks like

Tiny Tim is a very small puppy cockapoo dog waiting at Many Tears Animal Rescue in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tiny Tim, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tiny Tim?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tiny Tim on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tiny Tim if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Many Tears Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Tiny Tim already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tiny Tim isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tiny Tim and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
