Vánoce… a my si to přáli užít klidně. Nebuď blázen, Dougie potřeboval záchranu! Dougie je milý štěně sestaveného plemene s nejkrásnějším obličejem. Dává nejjemnější polibky, rád se tiskne a ještě roste v dlouhých nohou a velkých uších. Při dospívání bude určitě opravdu přitažlivým, majestátním chlapcem. Pracovali jsme spolu s jinou záchrannou organizací, abychom Dougieho dostali do bezpečí ze svého předchozího domova. Byl držen venku na vysokém balkonu místo uvnitř apartmánu a když přišel, byl velmi hubený, prakticky polykal svůj první skutečný oběd. Od té doby se Dougie krásně zabydlel ve svém dočasném domě, rychle se cítil pohodlně a stal se členem rodiny. V současnosti sdílí svůj dočasný domov s několika Buldogy, kteří jsou velmi sociální a přivítali ho otevřenými tlapkami. Dougie má rád hru s nimi v zahradě a užívá si dobré hry s hračkami. Rád by sdílel svůj pevný domov s dalším psem. Stejně jako mnoho mladých štěňat je příjemně hloupý a hloupost. Plný energie jednu chvíli, pak úplně vyčerpaný v krabici. Dougie nedávno navštívil veterinu pro svoje očkování a zamiloval všechny, koho setkal. Personál okamžitě zamiloval, chválil, jak laskavý a mírný byl. Nebyl ovlivněn svými injekcemi a klidně rozdával polibky a objímání po celém. I když byl trochu hluk na cestě tam, ta všechna vzrušení ho poslala rovnou do spánku na cestě zpět. Neznáme přesné plemenito Dougieho. Myslíme si, že má něco Husky, ale dále to je každý hádanka. Ještě učí se podrobnosti života doma, takže bude potřebovat adoptanta, který je zavázán poskytovat strukturu, meze a vedení, aby se stal dobře chovajícím dospělým. Dougie by mohl být vhodný pro rodinu s dětmi, ideálně starší 12 let. Je přátelský a sociální, ale stále velmi štěně, takže ukáže typické chování štěňat. Ještě nebyl testován s kočkou, ale toto je něco, co bychom byli rádi uspořádali pro perspektivního adoptanta.

He's the kind of boy who doesn't just enter a room… he arrives! 😍 He's grown into a big, exuberant young lad with a huge personality and plenty of energy, and yes… that can be a lot to handle. But behind all that bounce is a gorgeous young dog who simply needs the right person to help him channel all that enthusiasm into becoming the wonderful adult dog he's capable of being. 💪🐾 THE “SAVE THE SHOULDERS” PROGRAMME! Because Dougie, darling… We are NOT being dragged down the road, thank you very muchly! 🤪😂 So it's back to basics for this handsome boy. Engagement. Boundaries. Training. Consistency. Learning how to focus that busy brain. ❤️🐾 🐾 Dougie's story Dougie hasn't had the easiest start in life. As a puppy, he was abandoned on a balcony six floors up . 💔 Not exactly the start any little one deserves. From there, he went into foster, where he learned how to settle and live alongside the big girls — and now he's back with us, ready for the next stage of his journey. We're going to help him learn the ropes. ❤️🐾 Dougie is still only a baby in many ways. At just 8 months old , he has a lot of growing, learning and maturing still to do. This isn't a boy for a first-time dog owner. He needs someone who is experienced, confident and sensible around big, strong, enthusiastic dogs . Someone who understands that training isn't something you do for five minutes and then forget about. Someone who enjoys working with their dog. And someone who won't be overwhelmed when Dougie decides that excitement is the answer to absolutely everything! 😂❤️🐾 🏡 Dougie's ideal home Dougie needs a big home with a big dog lover . He needs space, structure, engagement and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. You will probably need to accept that this rather large boy may eventually decide that your lap is actually his lap. 😳😂❤️ Dougie is not suitable for families with young children , simply because his size and enthusiasm could easily knock a little one over. He could potentially live with dog-savvy, sensible older children , ideally aged around 12–14 years and above , depending on the individual home and circumstances. ❤️ Could you be Dougie's person? It's easy to look at a bouncy, excitable young dog and think… But Dougie doesn't need someone who wants less dog. Someone who sees past the excitement and sees the young dog underneath. Someone who is prepared to invest time into training, engagement and consistency. Someone who can guide him without giving up on him.
