May Day-høytid ... og vi tenkte å bruke den på å slappe av. Ikke vær dum, Dougie hadde behov for å bli redet! Dougie er en flink blandedyr med det søteste ansiktet. Han gir de mest kjære kysset, elsker en klem og vokser fremover med sine lange ben og store ører. Han skal bli en virkelig vakker, majestætisk gutt når han blir voksen. Vi arbeidet sammen med en annen redning for å få Dougie til sikkerhet fra hans tidligere hjem. Han hadde vært holdt utenfor på et høyhusbalcony i stedet for inne i leiligheten, og da han kom, var han svært undervektig, han sukket inn sin første egentlige måltid med oss. Siden da har Dougie satt seg godt inn i sin fostermamma, snart gjort seg til pasient og del av familien. Han deler nå sin fostermamma med flere bulldogger, som er meget sosiale og har mottatt ham med åpne pinner. Dougie elsker å spille med dem i hagen og har en god tid med tuggespill. Han vil gjerne dele sitt evige hjem med en annen hund. Som mange unge unger er han en utrolig latterlig, dyrisom gutt. Full av energi en stund, så fullstendig utmattet i kassen neste. Dougie besøkte akkurat veterinæren for sine vaksiner og imponerte alle han møtte. Ansattene forelsket seg umiddelbart i ham, og lovet hvor søt og lenge han var. Han ble ikke veldig påvirket av injeksjonene og ga gladelig kys og klemmer rundt. Mens han var litt støyende på veien dit, sendte all opphisselsen ham rett til søvn på veien hjem. Vi vet ikke nøyaktig hva Dougies rase er. Vi tror han har noe husky i seg, men ellers er det noen gjetninger. Han lærer stadig om innenlands liv, så han trenger en adoptør som er engasjert i å gi struktur, grenser og veiledning for å hjelpe ham til å bli en velopptreffer voksen. Dougie kan passe til en familie med barn, helst eldre enn 12 år. Han er venlig og sosial, men fortsatt svært en hundung, så han vil vise typiske hundung-oppførsel. Han har ikke blitt testet mot katte, men dette er noe vi vil være glade over å organisere for en potensiell adoptør.

He's the kind of boy who doesn't just enter a room… he arrives! 😍 He's grown into a big, exuberant young lad with a huge personality and plenty of energy, and yes… that can be a lot to handle. But behind all that bounce is a gorgeous young dog who simply needs the right person to help him channel all that enthusiasm into becoming the wonderful adult dog he's capable of being. 💪🐾 THE “SAVE THE SHOULDERS” PROGRAMME! Because Dougie, darling… We are NOT being dragged down the road, thank you very muchly! 🤪😂 So it's back to basics for this handsome boy. Engagement. Boundaries. Training. Consistency. Learning how to focus that busy brain. ❤️🐾 🐾 Dougie's story Dougie hasn't had the easiest start in life. As a puppy, he was abandoned on a balcony six floors up . 💔 Not exactly the start any little one deserves. From there, he went into foster, where he learned how to settle and live alongside the big girls — and now he's back with us, ready for the next stage of his journey. We're going to help him learn the ropes. ❤️🐾 Dougie is still only a baby in many ways. At just 8 months old , he has a lot of growing, learning and maturing still to do. This isn't a boy for a first-time dog owner. He needs someone who is experienced, confident and sensible around big, strong, enthusiastic dogs . Someone who understands that training isn't something you do for five minutes and then forget about. Someone who enjoys working with their dog. And someone who won't be overwhelmed when Dougie decides that excitement is the answer to absolutely everything! 😂❤️🐾 🏡 Dougie's ideal home Dougie needs a big home with a big dog lover . He needs space, structure, engagement and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. You will probably need to accept that this rather large boy may eventually decide that your lap is actually his lap. 😳😂❤️ Dougie is not suitable for families with young children , simply because his size and enthusiasm could easily knock a little one over. He could potentially live with dog-savvy, sensible older children , ideally aged around 12–14 years and above , depending on the individual home and circumstances. ❤️ Could you be Dougie's person? It's easy to look at a bouncy, excitable young dog and think… But Dougie doesn't need someone who wants less dog. Someone who sees past the excitement and sees the young dog underneath. Someone who is prepared to invest time into training, engagement and consistency. Someone who can guide him without giving up on him.
