Ziua Muncii… și am crezut că o să o petrecem relaxând. Nu fi nebun, Dougie avea nevoie de salvare! Dougie este un caine mic cu păr amestecat cu cel mai dulce chip. Îți dă cele mai blânde sărutări, îi place să se învelească și încă crește pentru a-și extinde picioarele lungi și urechile mari. O să devină cu siguranță un băiat frumos și majestuos atunci când va maturiza. Am lucrat împreună cu o altă salvare pentru a-l aduce pe Dougie în siguranță din casa lui anterioară. A fost ținut afară, pe un balcon de etaj superior, nu în apartament și când a ajuns, era foarte subalimentat, practic a înghițit primul său mâncare bună. De atunci, Dougie s-a adaptat perfect la casa de găzduire, a devenit rapid confortabil și parte din familie. În prezent împarte casa de găzduire cu mai mulți Bulldog, care sunt foarte sociabili și l-au primit cu brațele deschise. Dougie îi iubește jocul în grădină și se bucură de un joc bun de tragere cu jucăriile. Ar fi fericit să împartă casa sa definitivă cu un alt câine. La fel ca mulți cai de toamnă, el este un băiat minunat, amuzant. Plin de energie într-un moment, apoi complet obosit în coșul lui în următorul. Dougie a vizitat recent medicul veterinar pentru vaccinare și a fascinat toată lumea cu care s-a întâlnit. Personalul s-a îndrăgostit imediat de el, lăudând cât de blând și dulce era. Nu s-a neliniștit deloc de injecții și a oferit ușor sărutări și învelitori tuturor. În timp ce a fost puțin zgomotos pe drum, toată excitația l-a trimis direct în somn pe drumul înapoi. Nu știm exact rasă. Credem că are câteva Husky, dar dincolo de asta, e oricine poate ghici. El învață încă lucrurile bune ale vieții de casă, așa că va avea nevoie de un adoptant care este angajat să ofere structură, limite și ghidaj pentru a-l ajuta să devină un adult bine crescut. Dougie ar putea fi potrivit pentru o familie cu copii, ideal vârsta de 12 ani și peste. Este prietenos și sociabil, dar totuși foarte mult un cățeluș, așa că va arăta comportamente tipice de cățeluș. Nu a fost testat încă cu pisici, dar acesta este ceva pentru care am fi fericiți să organizăm pentru un adoptant potențial.

He's the kind of boy who doesn't just enter a room… he arrives! 😍 He's grown into a big, exuberant young lad with a huge personality and plenty of energy, and yes… that can be a lot to handle. But behind all that bounce is a gorgeous young dog who simply needs the right person to help him channel all that enthusiasm into becoming the wonderful adult dog he's capable of being. 💪🐾 THE “SAVE THE SHOULDERS” PROGRAMME! Because Dougie, darling… We are NOT being dragged down the road, thank you very muchly! 🤪😂 So it's back to basics for this handsome boy. Engagement. Boundaries. Training. Consistency. Learning how to focus that busy brain. ❤️🐾 🐾 Dougie's story Dougie hasn't had the easiest start in life. As a puppy, he was abandoned on a balcony six floors up . 💔 Not exactly the start any little one deserves. From there, he went into foster, where he learned how to settle and live alongside the big girls — and now he's back with us, ready for the next stage of his journey. We're going to help him learn the ropes. ❤️🐾 Dougie is still only a baby in many ways. At just 8 months old , he has a lot of growing, learning and maturing still to do. This isn't a boy for a first-time dog owner. He needs someone who is experienced, confident and sensible around big, strong, enthusiastic dogs . Someone who understands that training isn't something you do for five minutes and then forget about. Someone who enjoys working with their dog. And someone who won't be overwhelmed when Dougie decides that excitement is the answer to absolutely everything! 😂❤️🐾 🏡 Dougie's ideal home Dougie needs a big home with a big dog lover . He needs space, structure, engagement and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. You will probably need to accept that this rather large boy may eventually decide that your lap is actually his lap. 😳😂❤️ Dougie is not suitable for families with young children , simply because his size and enthusiasm could easily knock a little one over. He could potentially live with dog-savvy, sensible older children , ideally aged around 12–14 years and above , depending on the individual home and circumstances. ❤️ Could you be Dougie's person? It's easy to look at a bouncy, excitable young dog and think… But Dougie doesn't need someone who wants less dog. Someone who sees past the excitement and sees the young dog underneath. Someone who is prepared to invest time into training, engagement and consistency. Someone who can guide him without giving up on him.
