Májusi ünnepnap… és úgy gondoltuk, hogy pihenéssel töltsük. Ne legyél ostoba, Dougie-t meg kellett menteni! Dougie egy szíves keverék kis kutya, aki rendkívül kedves arcú. Óvatos csókokat ad, szeret ölelgetni, és még nő a hosszú lábain és nagy fülén. Nőttében valóban vonzó, királyi fiú lesz. Egy másik mentőszervezettel dolgoztunk együtt, hogy Dougie-t biztonságba hozzuk az előző otthonából. Ott külsőn tartották egy magas ház erkélyén, nem a lakásban, és amikor megérkezett, rendkívül sovány volt, szinte elsöpörte az első igazi ételünket. Azóta Dougie jól beilleszkedett a fogadócsaládjába, gyorsan megszokta a helyet, és részévé vált a családnak. Jelenleg több bulldoggal osztozik a fogadóházban, akik nagyon társasak, és őt is nyitott mancsokkal fogadták. Dougie szeret játszani velük a kertben, és élvezi a jó erőnyeréket a játékaival. Szívesen osztozik a végleges otthonának egy másik kutyával. Mint sok fiatal kis kutya, szórakoztató, buta fiú. Egyik pillanatban teljesen energikus, majd a következőben teljesen lefekszik a raktárba. Dougie éppen látogatta a doktorokat a vakcinációja miatt, és mindenkit megképesztett. A személyzet azonnal megkedvelte, dicsérték milyen kedves és gyengéd volt. Teljesen mindegy volt a tűzésére, és játékosan elosztotta a csókjait és öleléseit. Bár egy kicsit zajos volt a menet közben, a felindulás az út visszafelé során egyből elaludt. Nem tudjuk pontosan, milyen fajták keveréke Dougie. Gondoljuk, hogy valamennyire husky, de ezennel túlmutatnak a feltételezéseink. Még tanulja a házias élet alapjait, tehát olyan fogadót keres, aki komolyan veszi a struktúrát, határokat és irányítást, hogy segítse őt a megfelelő felnőtté válásban. Dougie alkalmas lehet egy családra gyerekekkel, ideálisan 12 éves vagy idősebbekkel. Barátságos és társas, de még mindig kis kutya, így jellemző kis kutyás viselkedést mutathat. Még nem vizsgálták macskákkal, de ez valamint a jövőbeli fogadó számára is elérhető.

He's the kind of boy who doesn't just enter a room… he arrives! 😍 He's grown into a big, exuberant young lad with a huge personality and plenty of energy, and yes… that can be a lot to handle. But behind all that bounce is a gorgeous young dog who simply needs the right person to help him channel all that enthusiasm into becoming the wonderful adult dog he's capable of being. 💪🐾 THE “SAVE THE SHOULDERS” PROGRAMME! Because Dougie, darling… We are NOT being dragged down the road, thank you very muchly! 🤪😂 So it's back to basics for this handsome boy. Engagement. Boundaries. Training. Consistency. Learning how to focus that busy brain. ❤️🐾 🐾 Dougie's story Dougie hasn't had the easiest start in life. As a puppy, he was abandoned on a balcony six floors up . 💔 Not exactly the start any little one deserves. From there, he went into foster, where he learned how to settle and live alongside the big girls — and now he's back with us, ready for the next stage of his journey. We're going to help him learn the ropes. ❤️🐾 Dougie is still only a baby in many ways. At just 8 months old , he has a lot of growing, learning and maturing still to do. This isn't a boy for a first-time dog owner. He needs someone who is experienced, confident and sensible around big, strong, enthusiastic dogs . Someone who understands that training isn't something you do for five minutes and then forget about. Someone who enjoys working with their dog. And someone who won't be overwhelmed when Dougie decides that excitement is the answer to absolutely everything! 😂❤️🐾 🏡 Dougie's ideal home Dougie needs a big home with a big dog lover . He needs space, structure, engagement and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. You will probably need to accept that this rather large boy may eventually decide that your lap is actually his lap. 😳😂❤️ Dougie is not suitable for families with young children , simply because his size and enthusiasm could easily knock a little one over. He could potentially live with dog-savvy, sensible older children , ideally aged around 12–14 years and above , depending on the individual home and circumstances. ❤️ Could you be Dougie's person? It's easy to look at a bouncy, excitable young dog and think… But Dougie doesn't need someone who wants less dog. Someone who sees past the excitement and sees the young dog underneath. Someone who is prepared to invest time into training, engagement and consistency. Someone who can guide him without giving up on him.
